Vintage 1940s Dress Dead Stock Semi Sheer 34 Bust Pink Gray Gingham Plaid NWT

Sweet dress from the 1940s or early 1950s. Dead stock with original tags, from the Steinbach Company of New Jersey. Pretty feminine shape with a full skirt. Puff short sleeves and lace around the neckline, gathering at the bust and a bow below.

Fabric content is not labeled, but it appears to be a semi sheer cotton that is treated with Shere-Sette process so that it's washable and it gives the fabric a slightly crisp feel. Soft colors of pink, gray and ivory, not bright. Swiss dots on the gray throughout.

Shoulder seam to seam is 15 inches across. Side zipper and separate belt.
