For the Saturday day-long, and all-night-long performance on August 18th, 1969!!! This was the day where the promoters scheduled the most Psychedelic Rock, Rock'n Roll, and Guitar Rock! That any event up until this point had really ever seen!

In a lot of ways... This could indeed be considered one of the most Quintessential Days! In all of Rock'n Roll History. The best part, well - depending how you look at it... Was that the gates were actually' crashed', and few if really any tickets were ever torn.

But, as History tells us - this pretty much ended up being a free event for most! The Woodstock Movie, does - a Historic! Coverage -- of not only the Band & the Music... And in addition to the' Big', and more well known acts on this day...

And, though the Grateful Dead personally / collectively considered their Woodstock performance to be a disaster... I'm not so sure!!

Sounds pretty darn good to me, on the Soundboard tapes available. Though, Bobby Weir did take a shock in the face - from an un-grounded microphone. Ace, taking one for The Team!
