Grateful Dead shirt vintage 1981 LONG BEACH Mouse Kelley Bill Graham 1978 Rose

Long Beach, California - August 27, 1981. The Grateful Dead played back to back August 27 & 28, 1981 in Long Beach and both shows are excellent. The second night features a unique performance Jerry and Brent jam with both drummers. Back of shirt graphic - Mouse/Kelley - Grateful Dead 1981 with 2 Red Roses & leaflets. The back of shirt is very similar to the fantastic poster artwork for Europe 1981 Tour (September/October 1981), which is a Stanley Mouse original creation.

The Red Roses & "Grateful Dead" Font style writing resemblance is very noticeable. Seems more than likely it's from the same batch of sketches / concepts Stanley Mouse was doing for the upcoming European Tour poster. Some real heaters on that Fall Europe 1981 Tour. Grateful Dead 1981 is pound for pound one of their best touring years. Size Large - 50 % Polyester / 50 % Cotton. Baseball style shirt 3/4 sleeve length. Ultra Rare 1981 Grateful Dead T-Shirt.

Has a couple of small spots on sleeve, but otherwise in excellent shape for a shirt of this age.
