As what was I even doing back in'96? - heck, as the first thing that comes to my-mind was seeing the Furthur Festival Show in Veneta, Oregon!
With Good Ol' Ken Kesey on-stage' Singing' Lovelight! - and, quite surely I'm missing someone-else here - so... As this-one is just That-Rare! Seeing as how I'm rambling here about old but Grate! But, with all " Rareness " aside - let's just start talking about Awesomeness!!! Because as far a 1996 Grateful Dead Shirts, GDM Shirts, Lot Shirts, etc. Is just one of the' Most-Awesome! Based solely on the Art Design!This-one pretty much gets one of those two-thumbs-up Are You Kidding-Me? As it a really' Boney' Grateful Dead! Scene' here - with " Grateful Dead " designed with an Incredibly-Rare! And, as for the " Skull " from this Dead-Skeleton...
It's got a G. " for a " Crack on its Head! And, as for the Incredible Sunglasses!" - we are talking Ponch & John " Chips! Style right-here - or, maybe even the Village People too!
These are Ray Ban Wire Rimmed' Mirrored' Beauties! And, even More-Importantly than that (very surprisingly)... There are Bright-Colored Red, White & Blue' Steal Your Face! - in the " Reflections " of the Sunglasses!!! And, can't have a better' Background' on this-one than Rock & Roll Black!That This-Shirt is just So! As I'm not quite sure where this one' fits' exactly in the order of my " Favorite Dead Shirts & Rock Shirts " of All-Time?
- but, it's most-definitely Always! And, as far as the " Post-1995 Era " goes... Tag Size / Brand : Large (L) / Lee Total Cotton (100% Cotton / Made in USA) Pit-to-Pit = 22.5" Length = 27" As this is a lightly used, and very well taken care of vintage shirt - here are the only issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection : >>> one (1) small/tiny hole on shirt front, located just below design image emblem area (please see photos/close up photo #10). >>> very light cracking of design image emblems (please see photos/close-up photos). >>> very light fading of shirt material fabric dyes (please see photos/close-up photos).
