This was one fantastic experience for Grateful Dead fans, and the band members themselves - as they performed starting at 4:30 a. The Dead closed this show, and were preceded by Jimmy Cliff - Gladys Knight & The Pips - The B-52's - Toots & The Maytals - and The Wailers! Not a bad day of music in Jamaica way back in'82...

And this was just the 1st night! The next two (2) nights, here's who also played : English Beat - Stacey Lattisaw - Aretha Franklin - Black Uhuru - Skeeter Davis - The Beach Boys - Yellowman - Bobby & The Midnites! - Rita Marley & Friends - The Melody Makers - Rick James - Squeeze, and The Clash Their' Last-Show! , and last but definitely not least... All of this, in Jamaica!
