This Program kicks off with a little " Memorial " to Pigpen! To whom, for all reasons obvious... The Band was so Grateful! Then, it's time for tons & tons of History, Info, Fun Facts & etc. Provided by Paul Krassner & Dennis McNally!
The part that I really! Love - the Deadheads & their T-Shirt Photos! As we all know & love how this component was always! Such a key & fun! Part of the scene, and the Dead Fan lifestyle! It's just so-'80's! Which, at least to me... Indeed a sign of the times, and the G.There are some photos of the Artistic & Classic! As most all of us have sent lots of that - in one form or another to either the G.
And, amazingly - it's pretty complete too, as the Dead only released a couple Studio-Albums after this time! Tons of all of that G. Art that we all Love! & Full-on Biography for every single present Band Member!!!!!! And, these are just Awesome!
Personally, I think it's a two-way tie between the Brent Photo! But, don't discount how awesome B. And then - for all of you Sound, Sound-equipment & Audiophiles out there yes, and I'm one! - there is an Excellent! Write-up on the Band's Equipment-ology! A whole page of Photos! And last, but not least... A few fantastic write-ups - " Grateful Dead In Myth And Legend " by Bob Petersen & Alan Trist - " Dilbert and the Plumber " by Robert Hunter! - and " An Aged Deadhead " by Milton Mayer. Credits after that, with even a few more cool photos. The simple fact is, This-One! To be in the Bookshelf of any Grateful Dead Fan, as it is that well done. They really went all-out on this one, and it well demonstrates just how much more' organic' the G. Scene was in the basically Pre-Stadium Touring era. Here, and you really can't beat the contents inside... Or, the Art on the Cover! Item Condition : This Very Rare!! 1983 Grateful Dead Concert Program is in overall Good condition.The Covers (front/back side) show surface wear, creasing, indentations, light scratches, discoloration, and general aging over 40-Years! The inside pages are in overall Very Good condition, with some light indentations throughout (please see photos). No missing pages, writing, or tearing - just the surface wear, creasing / indentations & aging mentioned...
