For use - and measures in at approximately 1" x 3/4" (approximately) - please see photos! A close to 40-year old item, from Grateful Dead yesteryear! Made of a firm metal, and sturdy enamel - this is a well-made pin - built to last... With such an incredibly-cool vintage look & feel. This item was made during a time & era when' Quality' manufacturing still did matter. It has an amazing feature too - in that depending which-way you look at it, or how light catches it... The' Gold' colored areas on the Pin catch the light & Shine-Brightly!!! Check out the photos provided, and you can see nicely what effects the different angles have on the image itself. This was kind of tough to photo without obstructing the light rays unlike seeing it up-close! , catching the light' properly' & all... But - I do think that I was able to get a few nice ones here for you to see.

(pinned safely to a protective piece of soft canvas), and has never been' worn' used - stored only, safely for decades. Pin has only the very-slightest bit of surface wear (hardly any), and very light signs of natural aging on the pin back, mostly on the pin post.
